Catering to expatriates and tourists, this section of one town gave me a wakeup call of who and what were around me as fellow motorcyclists.

I found collections of expat motorcycle adventurers from Kathmandu to Buenos Aires. The groups were usually not motorcycle brand-specific; they were mostly owners of mixed marques and sizes. Many were well-meaning motorcycle enthusiasts, meeting for dinners, day rides, and social events, sharing their experiences and camaraderie. Other members were not so good, however; they were reprobates fleecing others to support their lifestyles. Some scored with their scheming methods in transferring money from my pocket.
